Log in to the WordPress admin area
You need to access the admin area to manage content on your WordPress website.
You need to log in to your admin area through the login URL. If you don't know the login URL of your WordPress website, check out how to find your WordPress login URL.

Publish a post to your WordPress website
Navigate to "Posts" in the left sidebar section of your WordPress admin area. Then click "Add New Post".

In the editing panel, you can add title and content to your post.
You can also upload media files such as images, videos, PDFs or any WordPress-acceptable media files to your editor.

Before you publish, select a category and add tags to your post.
The category determines which category your post will be displayed.
The tag links a group of similar posts together.
User category for general categorization, such as news, blogs, case studies, and opinions.
Use tags for further categorization such as music, Japanese cars, South Asia, etc.
You may also set a "featured image" for your post. Depending on your theme, your featured image may be displayed in the post loop or on the post page.
To publish your post, simply click "Publish".
Publish a page to your WordPress website
Navigate to "Pages" in the left sidebar section of your WordPress admin area. Then click "Add New Page".

Similar like adding a post, you will specify title and content for your page.

Under "Page Attributes", you can set:
- Parent Page - Under which parent page the current page should belong to.
- Template - A template for the page content to be displayed (subject to your theme).
- Order - The order of the page displayed in the admin panel.
Under "Featured Image", you can set an image for this page. Depending on your theme, this image may be displayed to your website visitors.
To publish your page, simply click "Publish".
Upload media to your WordPress media library
The "Media Library" is the central place that manages all medias uploaded to your website, no matter where and how the media was added, they should all appear here.
Navigate to "Media" in the left sidebar area from your WordPress admin area.

You can:
- Upload additional media files by clicking "Add New Media File"
- Manage existing media file by clicking the thumbnail of the media
- Delete a media file

How to change navigation menus for your WordPress website?
Navigation menus can be easily modified through your admin area.
There are a couple of different navigation menus on your website:
- Header menu
- Footer menu
Depending on your theme customization, you may have additional navigation menu locations.
Navigate to "Appearance" in the left sidebar of your WordPress admin area.
Click "Menus" to view menu settings.

Under "Menu Structure", you can add, remove or change the order of the menu.
Once you are done with editing menu items, click "Save Menu" to save the changes.
How to create additional users for your WordPress website?

- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Click on "Users" in the left-hand menu.
- Click on the "Add New" button at the top of the page.
- Fill in the required fields, such as username, email address, and password for the new user.
- Assign a role to the new user. WordPress offers several roles with different levels of permissions, such as Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor, and Subscriber. You can learn different WordPress user roles and capabilities. Choose the appropriate role for the new user based on the level of access you want them to have.
- You can also add additional information about the new user, such as their first and last name, website, and bio.
Once you have filled in all the necessary information, click the "Add New User" button to create a new user account.
The new user will receive an email notification with their login details and can now log in to your WordPress website with the username and password you provided.
